Spooky candles
and candle holders abound this time of the year and are a
wonderful way to illuminate your holiday table.
Hollowed out mini-pumpkins and gourds make great votive candle holders.
If holding your Halloween party outdoors, we came across
some very unique skull and pumpkin Tiki Torches that offer a
spooky way to light up the night.
As with anytime you use lit
candles, extreme care must be taken to avoid a possible fire or injury.
Never leave lit candles or torches near anything that can
catch fire or unattended! |

Something as
simple as just changing out the regular light bulbs in your
lamps to colored bulbs can make a huge difference in your
party's atmosphere. You can also use small colored
floodlights to focus attention on Halloween centerpieces and
displays to illuminate them if they are not already lighted.
Never run extension cords across
a walkway, sidewalk or door opening. This is an accident
waiting to happen. |

Black lights
can be used to illuminate
fluorescent posters, paintings, costumes, and more. Black light units and there accompanying bulbs
come in a variety of sizes, anywhere from six inches to four feet in length. Most are AC
powered, but you can also get some of the smaller ones in battery powered.
Strobe lights work well when
placed over the dance floor. A thunder and lightning
simulator can add a creepy effect for outdoor
parties.
Strobe lights come in a variety of shapes,
sizes and power ratings. |
